Water Prince stood up,

"I'm sorry princess, that was a very bad joke, I came here to greet you" he explained, Fionna lowered her sword and looked at him confused,

"Why?" she asked, Flame Prince walked to the shore, he looked in pain when he got out of the water,

"Are you okay? you seem hurt?" she asked worriedly,

WP looked at her,

"You-your asking if I'm okay?" he confirmed, Fionna nodded, he blushed,

"Don't you think, I deserve some good beating, because I played a bad joke on you?" he stated, Fionna stifled a giggle,

"Na-uh, my sister often pranks me," she said to make him feel better, he didn't seem that bad,

"You-your feet is disappearing!" Fionna shouted, WP looked at his feet, he jumped back to the water,

"Uh- sorry about that, I can't go to land" he spoke, Fionna sighed in relief,

"I can't believe, there really is a water kingdom in AAA," Fionna mumbled, Water Prince laughed lowly,

"Well, we didn't want anyone to know, I might get- killed" he hesitated at the word killed,

Fionna got curious,

"Killed by what?" she asked, WP looked at the direction of the mountains,

"You mean by who" he corrected, Fionna stared at him,

"I'll protect you" she declared, WP turned to her, did he just hear right? she's willing to protect him,

"W-what?" he stuttered for a bit" Fionna went and hugged him,

"you don't need to be afraid anymore, I'll protect you" she whispered, WP smiled and hugged her back, the reason was very clear, even he can see it,

She was really something, he can't believe, she offered to help someone she doesn't know, she was kindness itself, he entered the water kingdom, his mother greeted him,

"My son! welcome back!" she greeted warmly, Water prince hugged her,

"I'm back mother" he said as he hugged her back, "Some mermaids told me that you've been always out waiting at the shallow parts of the water for a human girl? is that right?" she asked, Water Prince blushed before answering,

"Yes mother," he admitted, his mother laughed,

"My son has finally chosen a bride" she beamed in delight, Water Prince choked,

"Oh-no, it's not like that my Queen, I'm her friend, and I think, she's in love with flame prince" he confesses, Water Queen's eyes widened,

"That fire boy? he could hurt her! If you like her, you should fight" she encouraged, WP chuckled,

"No mother, I don't like her, were just friends" he cleared, his mother nodded, after their conversation he went to his room,

"She's a brave one, your lucky Flame Prince" he whispered before he closed his eyes to sleep.

Water Prince got up early and went to Water Queen's room,

"Mother," he called, his mother granted his permission to enter,

"What brings you here?" she asked gently, Water Prince sat on her bed,

"I wanted to borrow the Land necklace" he was getting nervous, Water Queen, thought for a minute,

"Okay" she blurted, water prince smiled and hugged her, she went for the clam and took the necklace,

"here, but remember, they will disappear in sunset, you have to get back to water at that time" his mother reminded,

Water Prince nodded, he happily swam to the shore, he walked to the forest, he didn't want to get seen by someone who could kill him, he saw Fionna's tree house, he quickly ran towards it,
